For the past two years, Chevrolet has used a mix of social media and community pride to promote their presence at the South By Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin, TX through their #ChevySXSW Roadtrip Challenge. Pitting 10 teams from across the country against each other in a road rally down to the event, this year the Detroit area was represented by two teams. One of those teams, Team Motown (Kyle Stuef, Brian Ambrozy, Nikki Stephan and Jacki Halas) will be at LA2M to talk about their time on the trip, their experience in Austin and how social media was both the cause and means of their journey.
Team Motown was one of two teams representing the Detroit area in this years’ #ChevySXSW Roadtrip challenge. The team is made up of Kyle Stuef, New Media Consultant for The Whole Brain Group; Brian Ambrozy, Editor-In-Chief at Icrontic.com; Nikki Stephan, Social Media Strategist at Identity Marketing and Public Relations; and Jacki Halas, Communications Specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
