LA2M Launches New Web Site - http://la2m.org

Ann Arbor, MI September 2, 2009 – LA2M, Lunch Ann Arbor Marketing launches new web site focused on marketing, social media, and communications.

http://la2m.org will be the new hub of information for Lunch Ann Arbor Marketing, an Ann Arbor based non-profit with over 500 members. LA2M lunches regularly bring together 80+ people each week to hear different marketing speakers and connect with other marketing professionals.

Kicking off its fourth season of lunchtime discussions, LA2M has a Fall 2009 schedule focused on Digital Marketing. LA2M is a free lunchtime event held at Conor O’neill’s every Wednesday from 11:45 – 1:00 PM.

LA2M is a volunteer organization and the building of the web site was completely donated by LA2M members. Ross Johnson of 3.7 Designs created the look and feel of the web site. Wayne Eaker of Samutech Web Development built the Drupal back end. And Derek Mehraban of Ingenex Digital Marketing managed the project and provided the bulk of search engine optimized content for the web site. Event Podcasts were recorded and put on the site by Vince Chimielewski of VC Web Design.

I have worked with these guys (Wayne and Ross) on numerous projects and it’s a pleasure to come together to build such a cool site for Lunch Ann Arbor Marketing that will be an important resource for our local marketing community, and beyond.” Says Derek Mehraban, LA2M Founder.

The site will have an event calendar with all LA2M events, and some local important events. The site will have audio and video podcasts of each event. The site will also provide expert content on all things related to marketing. Members will have an opportunity to post articles and share expertise on the web site.

LA2M is an educational non-profit focused on teaching marketing concepts, providing connections, and encouraging economic development. LA2M was founded in January 2008 and regularly draws 80+ people for lunch weekly in Ann Arbor.
